An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Robert Mitchum was an actor from the 1940s to the 1990s. Some of his movies include: The Story Of G.I. Joe (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Out of the Past, Cape Fear, Holiday Affair, The Night of the Hunter, The Longest Day, and scores of others! He remained a leading man for decades, and his career survived his being arrested for smoking marijuana in 1948 (and it probably was even helped by it!). He passed away in 1997 at the age of 79. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Robert Mitchum! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahoney Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
