A 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More)

Frank Sinatra (born Francis Albert Sinatra) was a legendary singer of the 1940s, who became a major movie star that same decade, and continued singing and acting for many years. Some of his movies include: many MGM musicals (some with Gene Kelly), as well as dramatic roles like The Man With The Golden Arm (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Manchurian Candidate, and From Here To Eternity (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film). He, along with his best friends, were known as The Rat Pack, and he was the inspiration for the "Johnny Fontaine" character in the Godfather movies! Sinatra passed away in 1998 at the age of 82.
Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall!

Condition: fair to good. There are faint creases scattered throughout, and there is uneven discoloration in the left of Sinatra's jacket, with a tiny stain in his cheek. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of this still.
