An Unfolded Special Poster (measures 20" x 28" [51 x 71 cm]) (Learn More)

Eerie, a James Warren magazine (published from 1963 to 1983) that attempted to recreate the E.C. horror comics of the 1950s, hiring many of the top comic book artists of the day. Jim Warren had great success with Famous Monsters of Filmland, with Forrest J. Ackerman, and he had been a huge fan of EC Comics (E.C. Comics), and he wanted to create magazines that would be very similar to them, except that they could have more "adult" content, because they were magazines and not comic books. He hired as many of the then-still living E.C. artists as he could, including Frank Frazetta, who produced many covers for Warren Publications, and he also hired some of the best "newer" artists of the time. He also published "Creepy" and "Vampirella".
Artist: Sanjulian

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a patch of slight rippling at lower left (and there is a small tear there that has been repaired with tape from the back.).
