An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #5 (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Piccadilly Incident, the 1946 Herbert Wilcox English World War II (WWII) romantic love triangle melodrama ("Beware of strangers"; based on the novel by Florence Tranter; a wacky tale of an English woman in the British service who meets a man in a black-out, and they get married, and she is shipped out, and she is reported dead, but actually she is shipwrecked on a desert island, and three years later, she comes back to find that her husband has married an American woman and has a child with him) starring Anna Neagle, Michael Wilding, Reginald Owen, Michael Laurence, Frances Mercer, and A.E. Matthews. Note that this film had a limited U.S. release in 1948 under the original title and a wide release in 1949 under the new title of "They Met at Midnight". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that because this movie only had a very limited U.S. release in 1948, and then went into wide release in 1949, we don't consider the 1949 movie paper "re-release", but rather from the "continuous" release. But be aware that there is 1948 movie paper that predates this one.
