Love Me Tender, the 1956 Robert D. Webb Civil War romantic rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) musical ("Mr. Rock 'N' Roll in the story he was born to play!"; "...singin' man ...fightin' man ...lovin' man"; "Based on a story by Maurice Geraghty") starring Richard Egan, Debra Paget, Elvis Presley (billed as "introducing Elvis Presley in his first motion picture"; in his first movie!), Robert Middleton, William Campbell, Neville Brand, Mildred Dunnock, Bruce Bennett, and James Drury. Note that producer Hal Wallis intended the 1957 film "Loving You" to be the first Elvis film. However, six months before the start of production for that project, Wallis loaned Elvis to 20th Century Fox and "Love Me Tender" became his first movie.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold). This is rare for a poster from this era and we have only seen one before for this movie. Because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good. The poster was tri-folded only. It has slightly darkened along portions of the foldlines and edges and there are some tiny creases and tears in the upper left blank border edge, but otherwise it is in pretty nice condition and after a simple linenbacking the poster will look great!
