An Original Vintage Folded French Circus Poster (measures 47 1/4" x 62 1/2" [120 x 159 cm]) (Learn More) Cirque Ancillotti Plege (literally translates to "Ancillotti Plege Circus" and sometimes known simply as "Cirque Ancillotti"). This is one of many 1920s French circus posters promoting a show, and featuring artwork of circus clowns, animals, and other performers. Note that the Plege circus was well-known in France in the 1900s. After the death of Antoine Plege, his widow and then his son ran the show. In 1908, Plege's daughter married Ugo Ancillotti and they eventually created the Cirque Ancillotti Plege. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this French circus poster, which is INCOMPLETE (only the right panel is present). Condition: poor to fair.
