An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (Learn More) Mountain Woman, the 1921 Charles Giblyn silent romantic melodrama ("Adapted from the novel 'A Pagan of the Hills' by Charles Neville Buck") starring Pearl White (famous star of the most memorable silent serial, "The Perils of Pauline"), Corliss Giles, Richard Travers, George Barnum, and Warner Richmond. Note that Pearl White is of course the most famous female silent serial star, but after many injuries from her roles, she decided that she wanted to quit serials, and she turned to "serious acting", but she became addicted to painkillers, and she retired in 1924 and passed away in 1938, when she was just 49.
