Polish 23x33 '66 colorful Flisak art of sexy woman in peril! Date Sold 2/22/2011Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Polish Movie Poster (23x33; measures 22 3/4" x 32 1/2" [58 x 83 cm]) (Learn More) Kdo chce Zabit Jessii? (released in the U.S. as "Who Wants to Kill Jessie?" and in other countries as "Superman Wants to Kill Jessie", "Who Would Kill Jessie?" and "Who Killed Jessie?"), the 1966 Vaclav Vorlicek Czechoslovakian science fiction (sci-fi) fantasy romantic love triangle comedy (about a female scientist who invents a machine that allows you to "edit" your dreams, so that you can remove disturbing elements; but she doesn't know that those removed people enter the real world!; her husband is having romantic dreams about a comic book heroine named Jessie, so the scientist removes Jessie from the dream, along with her comic book boyfriend Superman, and both they and a villain enter the real world and start causing all sorts of problems!) starring Dana Medricka, Jiri Sovak, Olinka Berova (in the title role as Jessie), Juraj Visny (as Superman), and Karel Effa. Note that this movie is almost completely unknown in the West, but it is pretty remarkable, in that it has a lot of the spoof elements of the 1960s Batman TV series (and it was done at the same time), and it also has an unauthorized Superman, and what is most remarkable is that it is a completely silly movie, made behind the Iron Curtain, which just wasn't done at that time! Artist: Jerzy Flisak Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There is a tear and area of paper loss in the upper right edge that has been repaired with paper and tape from the back and some paint from the front. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
