Rocky, the classic 1976 John G. Avildsen (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Philadelphia Pennsylvania boxing sports action romantic melodrama ("His whole life was a million-to-one shot."; "Written by Sylvester Stallone"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award; produced by Irwin Winkler) starring Sylvester Stallone (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Rocky Balboa), Talia Shire (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film; as Adrian), Burt Young (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Carl Weathers (as Apollo Creed), Burgess Meredith (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; "as Mickey"), and Butkus Stallone (as Butkus the dog!). Note this film was released late in 1976 and all of the first release U.S. posters have a 1977 NSS number on them.

Condition: good. The poster is very lightly rippled. It has several creases and scuff marks in portions of the images and the title and someone once partially folded the poster at upper and lower center (close to where the "regular" folds are usually found on a fully folded insert) and there are some creases along those partial waves. After proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
