If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and pretty minor wear on the foldlines. It had a small circular area of paper loss in the right of the rim above Raft's hat. It had diagonal paper loss in each corner that extended into the image background in each corner and also eliminated the word "PRINTED" from "PRINTED IN ENGLAND". Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, and the restorer recreated the missing areas of the four corners. It is noticeable that they have been replaced, but it is not very distracting (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
