Important Added Info: Note that we have only once before auctioned an example of this first release insert, and that was 19 years ago, when it auctioned for $1,380! The first release posters are likely so rare because the movie received a quick re-release in 1958, and it is likely that what first release posters remain at that time were either used up or thrown away. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had minor wear on the folds. It had small tears around the edges, with a few smudges, and just a very few within the image. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
