An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) Dutiful But Dumb, the 1941 Del Lord magazine photography slapstick comedy short (the Stooge are cameramen sent to a European country called Vulgaria, where they are assigned to get a photo of a death ray, but they are caught and sentenced to death, but Curly's last request is to smoke a cigar, and by the time he is done, everyone has fallen asleep, and they escape) starring The Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine, Curly Howard), Eddie Acuff, Fred Aldrich, Ernie Adams, and Bruce Bennett NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a different still from this movie, and NO other movie paper of any kind, until we received this second great still! Also note that this still is a key book still, printed on a deluxe heavyweight paper stock. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic. Someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the left of the still. Condition: very good. The left 1" was neatly trimmed off (see above). There is a crease and two tiny tears near the center of the bottom blank border. Otherwise, the still is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
