Corral', 'Last Train From Gun Hill'"; "Based upon a story by Talbot Jennings") starring John Wayne ("as John Elder"), Dean Martin ("as Tom Elder"), Martha Hyer ("as Mary Gordon"; "If Texas couldn't tame 'em -- could she?"), Michael Anderson Jr. (as Bud Elder), Earl Holliman (as Matt Elder), Jeremy Slate, George Kennedy, Dennis Hopper, and Paul Fix NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Note that we gave this condition grade to a very few posters that were in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking, but which were not all that well linenbacked, and which could be fairly easily re-backed with only minor additional restoration. The poster had very minor fold wear. There were pinholes, creases, and smudges around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great, but the restorer chose to use a fair amount of white paint in the borders to "even them out" (it is solely in the blank white areas, and would not even show when the poster is framed).
