An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More)

The Dark Angel, the 1925 George Fitzmaurice silent romantic love triangle blindness melodrama ("He spies on lovers in secret meetings."; "From the stage play by H.B. Trevelyan"; about a man who is about to be married, but he goes to World War I and is blinded, and he lets his girl think he is dead, and she prepares to marry his best friend, but she learns he is alive, and she goes to see him, and he almost manages to convince her that he can see, but at the end, she "sees" through his scheme!) starring Ronald Colman, Vilma Banky, Wyndham Standing, Frank Elliot, Charles Lane, and Helen Jerome Eddy. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).

Condition: fine. The glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images).
