The caves have been open to the public since 1828, and were used as a shelter for the people of Remouchamps during World War II (WWII). The underground river Rubicon flows through the caves and is navigable for 2,000 ft. Artist: O. Lieder Condition: good to very good. The poster has a few small tears in portions of the edges (at right, upper left and along the lower edge) with some small paper loss in the lower right corner. It has a somewhat odd misprint in the upper right corner (the area was not printed red) but the defects do not distract from the overall appearance and artwork of the poster, which is in excellent condition.
