Venetian Bird (released in the U.S. as "The Assassin"), the 1952 Ralph Thomas English Italy romantic mystery crime thriller ("Kiss by kiss... she led him on... into the trap of The Assassin"; "Behind her lush beauty lurked 'The Assassin'"; "Every man's hand was against him - and a woman's soft white arms invited him to murder!"; "Filmed in Venice - city of intrigue and danger.") starring Richard Todd (billed as "Star of 'Robin Hood'"), Eva Bartok, John Gregson, George Coulouris, and Margot Grahame

Condition: good to very good. Note that this poster has never been folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded twice (once horizontally and once vertically) right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded copy of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970!

12" slightly diagonal crease in the lower left corner as well as some smaller creases in that corner and around the edges of the poster; right 1 1/4" folded back at one time; paper loss in the upper left blank corner (see the image below); 2" tear in the right edge as well as a few smaller tears around the edges of the poster (some repaired with tape from the back); pairs of staple holes around the edges of the poster including some in the image background; minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (mostly around the edges)
