An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Days of Jesse James, the 1939 Joseph Kane singing cowboy crime bank robbery western (about a rich man who returns to his home after striking gold out west and he deposits his money in a bank whose owner is corrupt; the owner robs the bank and implicates Jesse James and his brothers in the robbery due to their reputation and Roy Rogers is hired to track them down, but he and the rich man infiltrate the gang and determine that they are innocent, and Rogers goes on to collar the bank owner!) starring Roy Rogers (as himself), George 'Gabby' Hayes, Don 'Red' Barry (billed as "Donald Barry"; in the title role as Jesse James), Scotty Beckett, and Pauline Moore NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had creases and some tiny tears down the vertical foldline and some pinholes around the edges of the poster.
