An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Charlie Callas was an actor and comedian from the 1960s to the 2010s. Some of his movies include: Silent Movie, History of the World: Part I, and Vampire Vixens from Venus. He was also Malcolm Argos on TV's "Switch". He passed away in 2011 at the age of 83. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Charlie Callas! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! The consignor of this autographed item (and a large number of other signed items in this auction) is a longtime autograph collector who does not have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for this item, but he feels certain it is genuine. Many of the items he has consigned were purchased from an autograph store that was going out of business when the owner retired, and many of the items he has consigned to this set of auctions come from this purchase.
