An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 10" x 12 3/4" [25 x 32 cm]) (Learn More) Pampered Youth, the 1925 David Smith silent romantic family relationship melodrama ("Adapted from Booth Tarkington's famous story 'The Magnificent Ambersons'") starring Cullen Landis, Ben Alexander, Allan Forrest, and Alice Calhoun. Note that this silent version of Booth Tarkington's Magnificent Ambersons is completely forgotten today, except by major film buffs. Of course, another version was made in 1942 by Orson Welles, right after he made Citizen Kane, and although the ending was changed by the studio, many people think it is one of the best movies ever made! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been personally autographed (signed) by Cullen Landis! Our consignor purchased this card from a collector who had obtained these autographs decades ago. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we feel certain the signature is authentic. Also note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 10" x 12 3/4" [25 x 32 cm]. Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a single still from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this lobby card (and we are also currently auctioning a different scene card in a separate auction)! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good.
