An Original 1967 Vintage Theatrical Folded Six-Sheet Movie Poster (6sh; measures 81" x 81" [206 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) Per Qualche Dollaro in Piu (released in the U.S. in 1967 as "For a Few Dollars More"), the classic 1965 Sergio Leone German/Italian/Spanish cowboy spaghetti western sequel ("The man with no name is back! The man in black is waiting..."; "It's the second motion picture of its kind! It won't be the last!"; "The man with no name is back! The man in black is waiting... A walking arsenal - he uncoils, strikes and kills!") starring Clint Eastwood (as Monco), Lee Van Cleef (as Col. Mortimer), Gian Maria Volonte, Mara Krupp (billed as "Mara Krup"), Luigi Pistilli, Klaus Kinski (as Juan Wild, the Hunchback), Joseph Egger (billed as "Josef Egger"), Panos Papadopulos, Benito Steffanelli, Roberto Camardiel, Aldo Sambrell, Luis Rodriguez, and Mario Brega. Note that this movie was released in December of 1965 (no doubt to qualify for awards), but most of the Italian posters from the first release are dated 1966. This same situation exists with La Dolce Vita and many other classic movies. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that there is considerable conflicting information about who created the art for this item. Some say Fred Otnes created the art, others say David Blossom, while others believe Mitchell Hooks, Ted CoConis, etc. If anyone has definitive proof about who created the art, please e-mail us. Also note that this six-sheet was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap. Condition: fair to good. There is a 12" uneven tear in the middle of the left of the image, just above the title, and it runs through the foot of the small standing man. There is paper loss in the crossfold directly above that that is in Eastwood's sleeve, and a thin strip in his hand. Someone put a few pieces of tape on the back of the 12" tear. There is also small paper loss in the black background in the top left section. There is an 8" tear in the bottom of the poster near the middle, in the white background above the red border and slightly entering the red border. There is light water staining on the back of the poster that shows through to the front in part of Eastwood's credit. There are many pinholes around the edges, some of which are enlarged, and there are some tears and tiny paper loss on parts of some folds. Obviously, this poster can be restored during linenbacking, but bear its defects and the cost of restoration in mind before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
