  Auction History Result ICE CASTLES 8x10 still Date Sold 4/10/2000Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 2 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Stills (Learn More) Ice Castles, the 1978 Donald Wrye figure skating ice skating sports romantic melodrama ("Together they reached for the impossible."; "If you love ice skating you'll love 'Ice Castles'"; "A motion picture for you coming this winter from Columbia Pictures"; "The exciting world of competitive ice skating fills the screen this winter at a theatre near you" ) starring Robby Benson, Colleen Dewhurst, Tom Skerritt, Jennifer Warren, David Huffman, and Lynn-Holly Johnson (billed as "Introducing Holly Johnson as Lexie"). Note that this movie was originally intended to feature a "name" actress in the lead role (and have some or most of her ice skating performed by a stunt double). But it became apparent that this would not work, so the producers found Lynn-Holly Johnson, who was performing in the Ice Capades, and she was hired. After this movie, she had an ice skating cameo in the James Bond movie "For Your Eyes Only", and since then, she has had several more movie and TV appearances.
