Some of his roles include: TV's "Mork & Mindy", Good Will Hunting (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), The Fisher King (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Dead Poets Society (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Good Morning Vietnam (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and The Birdcage. Sadly, Williams committed suicide in 2014 after years of struggling with depression and motor symptoms, and it's since been discovered he had Lewy Body Dementia, which may have contributed to his depression and subsequent death.
