The Last Girls (literal translation of the Japanese title), the 1954 Kiyoshi Kusuda Japanese World War II (WWII) melodrama (about the more than 1000 Japanese civilians who committed suicide in the last days of the Battle of Saipan) starring Kono Akitake, Megumi Haru Tone, Yoshiko Machida, Tomoko Harada, and Akira Yamauchi. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
