An Original Vintage Theatrical Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20" x 28 1/2" [51 x 72 cm]) (Learn More) Hokusai Manga (released in the U.S. as "Edo Porn"), the 1981 Kaneto Shindo Japanese sexploitation artist fantasy melodrama (based on the play by Seiichi Yashiro; about the famous woodblock artist Hokusai) starring Ken Ogata (in the title role as Hokusai), Toshiyuki Nishida, Yuko Tanaka, Kanako Higuchi, Nobuko Otowa, Yoichi Sase, and Frankie Sakai If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster contains a partially unclothed woman, so we have placed a white bar over that area, for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual poster does not have that white bar! Also note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! Also note that this poster was somewhat tri-folded. What does that mean? Many Japanese posters were stored in a tri-folded fashion, but where someone took a group of posters and then tri-folded the entire group. This means that many of the posters have only a slight "waviness" one third of the way from the top and the bottom of the poster, but they are not actual folds. They are normally not very noticeable at all from the front of the poster, but they can be seen from the back of the poster, and they mean that the poster does not lay 100% flat. These "waves" greatly diminish if the poster is put under weight for a time, and become almost completely invisible.
