An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Fountain, the 1934 John Cromwell World War I (WWI) Holland military romantic love triangle melodrama ("From the novel by Charles Morgan"; Holland was "neutral" in World War I, but was pro-Germany, and this movie centers around a captured British officer who is allowed to live in a nobleman's house, but it turns out the nobleman is married to the British officer's childhood sweetheart) starring Ann Harding, Brian Aherne, Paul Lukas, Jean Hersholt, Ralph Forbes, and Violet Kemble Cooper
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that first release 1934 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only ever auctioned a few stills from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: fair. The card was in wonderful condition, but unfortunately, some demented teen or child put a pencil mustache across Harding's upper lip and into the background next to her. Someone tried to erase this, but it might have made it worse. The card can be professionally restored, but bear this in mind before bidding on this card.
