An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 3/4" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Postal Inspector, the 1936 Otto Brower crime melodrama starring Ricardo Cortez, Patricia Ellis, Michael Loring, Bela Lugosi, and Wallis Clark. Note that Bela Lugosi had been Universal's top star after 1931's Dracula, and he appeared in several memorable horror movies for them. But his star fell quickly in the mid 1930s, and this was his last movie on his original contract, and he was not even billed or featured on the advertising! He rebounded with many horror roles at other studios, but his drug problems severely curtailed the extent of his career in those later years.

Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two lobby cards from this movie, and NO other movie paper, until we received this still! Note that this still has a stamp on the back that indicates it came from the legendary horror/sci-fi collection of Ron Borst (the stamp reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Ronald V. Borst")! Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 3/4" x 10" [20 x 25 cm].

Condition: very good. The still was slightly trimmed but is otherwise in nice condition!
