Sangre Negra (released in the U.S. as "Native Son"), the 1951 Pierre Chenal U.S./Argentinean black African American racial crime accidental murder melodrama ("The dynamite-loaded story of a negro and a white girl!"; "Now On the Screen At Last... Richard Wright's savage, terrifying best-seller Explodes onto the screen"; "I didn't mean to Kill her!"; based on the classic novel by Richard Wright; about a black man killing a liberal white girl out of fear) starring Jean Wallace, Richard Wright (as Bigger Thomas), Nicholas Joy, Gloria Madison, Willa Pearl Curtis, and Ruth Robert. Note that Orson Welles staged a very controversial version of this story on Broadway. It caused such a furor that Wright couldn't get any backing in the U.S. for a movie version of it, so he went to Argentina to shoot it with Buenos Aires doubling for New York and played the title role himself. It got very limited American release so any movie paper from it is very rare, and the U.S. and Argentinean posters have similar images!

Important Added Info: Note that these stills measure from 7 3/4" x 9" to 8" x 10".

Condition: fair to good. Two of the stills have been trimmed around the edges and have a few scuffs and creases (the one pictured at upper right has paper loss in the lower right corner). The still pictured at lower left has paper loss and an approximately 3 1/2" tear at lower left, and pairs of staple holes at center and around the edges, and a few tape stains in each corner (the tape was not put there for any restoration purpose). The still pictured at lower right has some rippling from exposure to moisture and discoloration and surface paper loss at lower left.
