An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Single-Sided One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 40" [69 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Bruce Conner: The Art of Montage, the 2010 film festival showcasing the works of experimental filmmaker and artist Bruce Cabot who created montages using images from other sources. In 1958 he made his first movie called "A MOVIE" (Cabot insisted that all of his film titles be in capital letters) in which he skillfully assembled compilations of newsreels and other films into a 12 minute film focused on poverty. He went on to create 23 films in this style until his death in 2008. His films have inspired generations of filmmakers and are considered to be the inspiration for the music video genre (when told of this, Mr. Conner replied "Not my fault.") If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. There is a slightly diagonal scuff mark at upper center. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
