Rufus Owens, and Lorna Maitland (billed as "featuring Lorna Maitland"). Note that director Russ Meyer released this movie in 1965 as both "Rope of Flesh" and "Mudhoney", giving each its own complete ad campaign (he did this with several of his movies, almost certainly to trick both theater owners and theatergoers into booking and seeing the same movie more than once!). The posters and lobby cards for the "Mudhoney" release are of superior design and are more desirable by collectors. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this pressbook was folded across the center at one time. Because of this, this pressbook can be sent in one of our standard size packages (if it is purchased together with pressbooks that can NOT be folded, then it will of course have to be sent in one of our oversized packages). But if this pressbook is purchased by itself (or solely with other pressbooks that can be folded), then the shipping will be much lower, because it fits in a standard package. Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!
