An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures 13 3/4" x 21" [35 x 53 cm]) (Learn More) Lady Godiva (released in other English-speaking countries as "Lady Godiva of Coventry"), the 1955 Arthur Lubin historical re-telling of the classic fable ("The first startling story of the world's most famous ride!"; about a Saxon English lady, who, as punishment for her militant views, is forced to ride through her town on a horse completely naked!; this movie gives a fictional account of what led up to that famous ride; unfortunately, due to the standards of 1955, Maureen O'Hara is given so much hair as to be basically clothed!) starring Maureen O'Hara (in the title role as Lady Godiva), George Nader, Victor McLaglen, Rex Reason, Torin Thatcher, Eduard Franz, and Arthur Shields NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There is paper loss in the upper right edge of the poster that has been repaired with tape from the back and a tax stamp and some paper from the front. There are remnants of a tax stamp in the background at lower right. There is a small tape stain at top center and there are some minor creases throughout the poster.
