Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Pepper Pot Novelty, the 1931 stock poster ("Novelties, Music, Girls"; "A Vitaphone short subject") for Warner Brothers/Vitaphone musical song-and-dance short subjects. Warner Bros. made a great stock one-sheet for this series in the early 1930s (likely in 1931; the poster is undated, but it has a litho number, and comparing this number to our massive database of litho numbers taken from actual movie posters, we can determine that this poster is almost certainly from 1931), and this poster has a nearly naked showgirl wearing a tiny costume! In 1935 they made a second stock one-sheet that says "A New Pepper Pot Novelty", and that one also has an image of a sexy woman, just not as exposed as the one on this poster (surely because of the Production Code, which was introduced in the interim)! Condition: good. paper loss in the upper left corner of the poster (see the image below); water stains and slight discoloration throughout the poster; much separation along the foldlines as well as some 3" and smaller tears along the foldlines and around the edges of the poster a few tack holes around the edges of the poster including some 1/2" holes in the top blank border from rough removal; Please do not bid on this poster unless you are willing to accept its defects or are willing to have it restored!
