An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures 14 1/4" x 18 1/4" [36 x 46 cm]) (Learn More) Montana, the 1950 Ray Enright cowboy western melodrama ("Their bullets riveted a new star to the flag!"; "New triumph from Warner Bros. in TECHNICOLOR"; "Based on a story by Ernest Haycox"; the old story of cattlemen vs sheep herders, with the cattlemen doing all they can to prevent the sheep from eating the grass their cattle need, but with a twist, because the lead sheep herder is an Australian who somehow ended up in Montana!) starring Errol Flynn, Alexis Smith, S.Z. Sakall, Douglas Kennedy, James Brown, and Ian MacDonald. Note that Errol Flynn was in fact Australian, and the script writers worked that into the plot, which allowed him to speak with an Australian accent (possibly for the first time in his movie career!). Also note that this poster was folded across the middle at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). There are creases scattered throughout the poster. There are some 2" and smaller tears around the edges of the poster that have been repaired with tape from the back.
