An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Trifling Women, the 1922 Rex Ingram silent family relationship romantic love triangle melodrama (a remake of director Rex Ingram's first feature movie, "Black Orchids", from 1917, which was based on a novel by Honore de Balzac; the movie tells of a father warning his daughter about the dangers of leading men on, and he tells her the story about a woman who paid a terrible price for doing so, and in the story within the story, the daughter plays the lead part as well!) starring Barbara La Marr, Ramon Novarro, Pomeroy Cannon, Edward Connelly, and Lewis Stone. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good to very good. Apparently the theater that used this slide wrote in the play dates in the bottom, and then when they re-used it, they put thick black tape over that area.
