Artist: Peal Important Added Info: This Argentinean poster measures approximately 29" x 43" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). OR you can't see the restoration because it was so well done, but the poster had fairly significant defects. OR no restoration was performed, but the defects are not major, and restoration could be done to the poster without re-backing it. See below for its pre-restoration defects (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had tiny holes at the crossfolds and many creases above and below the bottom foldline. There was a 10" tear in the lower right corner of the poster going through the "R" of "CAZADORA". Other than the above defects, the poster had minor fold and border wear. The person who linenbacked the poster just mounted the poster and left the defects alone. If they bother the new owner of the poster, a talented restorer could touch them up without rebacking the poster. Learn More about condition grades
