Wells' The War of the Worlds, the classic 1953 Byron Haskin science fiction (sci-fi) Martian extraterrestrial alien invasion action thriller ("From the ends of the universe... they are reaching for YOU!"; produced by George Pal; loosely based on the classic novel by H.G. Wells; about seemingly unstoppable aliens invading the Earth) starring Gene Barry, Ann Robinson, Les Tremayne, Robert Cornthwaite, Lewis Martin, and Ann Codee NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster has small paper loss at each crossfold. There are pinholes, creases, smudges, and tiny tears around the edges of the poster. There are two pieces of tape, in the left and right of the top blank border. There is paper loss in the top right blank corner which was crudely repaired with a piece of tape from another poster. There are tiny tears and tiny areas of paper loss in the vertical foldline between the top crossfold and the bottom crossfold. The poster is in better condition than the above makes it sound! The defects are basically minor, and the sort that respond extremely well to restoration. After a simple linenbacking, the poster would look great, and would have little paint anywhere on it!
