An Original Vintage Theatrical Kraftbacked Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Fourth Alarm, the 1930 Phil Whitman fireman firefighter romantic explosives melodrama (a wildly contrived story of a heroic firefighter who is hit in a car crash by the daughter of a rich man; he breaks his leg, and while he is recovering, they fall in love; her father hires the young man to be the inspector at his warehouse that illegally makes nitroglycerin, thinking his future son-in-law won't turn him in, but the young man does, and the rich man has him arrested on a trumped up charge of bribery; but then the warehouse catches fire, and the daughter is trapped inside, but her boyfriend saves her in a rousing finale to the movie!) starring Nick Staurt, Ralph Lewis, Tom Santschi, Ann Christy, Harry Bowen, and Jack Richardson NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great! Condition: fair. The poster was kraftbacked (see above). It has separation, tears, and small paper loss scattered on the vertical fold, with a lesser amount on the horizontal fold. It had some kind of snipe glued over the lower right of the image, and it was roughly removed, causing surface paper loss in the bottom center of the image. There are pinholes, stains, and tears around the edges (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
