An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Music Publicity Still (Learn More) The Moonmaids (sometimes spelled Moon Maids) were a female jazz and pop vocal quartet from the 1940s to the 1950s. They quickly rose to fame performing with the Vaughn Monroe Orchestra. Some of their hits include: Just the Other Day, I Wish I Didn't Love You So, and A Marshmallow World Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by FOUR people, including: Maree Lee, Betty McCormick, Ruth Witmer, AND Lois Wilber! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1970s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: good. There is deterioration and discoloration along the left edge from exposure to moisture, as well as a few patchy areas of discoloration scattered in some areas. Learn More about condition grades
