It had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss scattered down the vertical fold. It had pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects, and the restorer painted over all of the borders and background areas at top and bottom, to "even them out".
