Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. is an American media company that makes film, television, and music entertainment. It was founded in 1923 by Albert Warner, Harry Warner, Sam Warner, and Jack Warner and is still one of the most successful film studios ever. Bugs Bunny is the company's official mascot.

Important Added Info: Note that our consignor worked for Warner Bros. for many years. He was given this "key to Warner Bros.", which is a large and heavy metal key with the famous Warner Bros. logo at top and "Welcome to Warner Bros. Studio" embossed on one side and "The Largest in the World" embossed on the other. Our consignor was given this key by Col. Bill Hendricks, the legendary Warner Bros. executive who, in 1947, started the Toys For Tots charity. He told Col. Hendricks he could not accept such a nice present, but Col. Hendricks told him to go ahead and take it because "I have a lot of them because when you did a good job, J.L. [Jack L. Warner, owner of the studio] didn't give you a raise, he gave you a key to the studio." So there were surely a lot of these "keys" at one time, but we don't know where they are today, and we have never before auctioned this. We don't know exactly what it is made of, but we would guess it is copper alloy, because it has tarnished, as old copper pennies did. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. The key has tarnished, but all of the lettering is completely readable.
