An Original Vintage Board Game (measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]) (Learn More)

Bruce Lee was born Lee Juan Fan in San Francisco in 1940, but his parents moved to Hong Kong when he was still a baby. He grew up there, and appeared in movies as a child, and took up martial arts when he became a teen. When he was 18 he moved back to San Francisco, and then to Seattle where he opened a kung fu school. In 1966 he was cast as Kato on TV's The Green Hornet. He also appeared in the movie Marlowe, and on a few episodes of TV's "Longstreet". He also opened two more kung fu schools. In 1971 he went to Hong Kong and filmed Fists of Fury (also called The Big Boss), which was a huge hit, and he followed the next year with The Chinese Connection (also called Fist of Fury), and Return of the Dragon (with Chuck Norris). Hollywood knew a hit when they saw it, and in 1973 Lee starred in Enter The Dragon. Soon after the movie was completed, Lee died of a cerebral hemorrhage (or was he silenced by his enemies?). After his death at just 32, footage he shot was edited into Game of Death (with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar), and scores of "tribute movies" were made, and several martial arts actors took names similar to "Bruce Lee". Lee's son, Brandon Lee, was killed in an accident while filming The Crow, and he was just 28.
Important Added Info: Note that in May 2018, we auctioned a collection of 120 board games that sold for as much as $903, and only a handful went for under $10 each, and now we have been consigned another 58 that come from a variety of consignors, which covers all decades and genres. Most are movie or TV related in some way (often based on a specific movie or TV show, but sometimes on a character). All of the games were actually used and played with. We can't say if the games are complete, especially in regards to the small pieces. We have photographed the cover of the game, the inside of the cover (if relevant), the board, and the game pieces, and we include the length and width measurements of the box. Please look at our images to tell both the overall condition of the game, and to see if it appears to be complete. We have assigned each game an overall condition grade, but because we are FAR from experts in these board games, we don't have a basis for how to grade them, and we are just taking a good guess as to how to grade them. Also, please do not ask any questions about them, because we won't know the answers, beyond what can be seen in our images. We also have already packed the games so that they will be quickly ready to ship, so they can't be opened, and therefore we can't look at any of them to give further information beyond what is seen in our images. This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase many of these games at one time! If you bought them one at a time, you would have to pay postage on each package, but if you purchase a group of these from this set of auctions, we will combine as many as possible into a single box, which will save you much on shipping. All of these 58 board games will have new owners when these auctions end, because all are being sold with no reserve, and all start at just $1!

Note that this item needs to be shipped in a box, which might be a fairly small box, or might be a very large box. What is important for the bidders to know is that this item likely CAN'T be combined with other purchases, because there would not be much savings if any, because this item will be in a box, while other purchases will be in a flat package, and trying to combine them would likely damage this item anyway. If you purchase multiple items like this (ones that need to be packed in a box), then they likely can be combined with each other (unless the resulting box is simply too large). So please bear in mind that this item must be sent separately in a box (the size of the box will depend on the size of the item), and bear this added expense in mind before placing a bid on it.

Condition: very good. There are some creases around the edges of the box cover, but otherwise, it appears to have never been used.
