What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfold and some wear on the folds, with pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to paperbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but someone displayed it by putting clear tape in the center of the top and bottom borders, and most of it was removed, causing surface paper loss (see our image).
