If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had paper loss in and under Bette Davis' eye at center. It also had tears and paper loss in most parts of the vertical foldline and in much of the middle horizontal fold, with separation on the other two horizontal folds. It had pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster. Learn More about condition grades
