An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Body and Soul, the 1931 Alfred Santell World War I (WWI) Royal Air Force pilot airplane aviation military spy espionage romantic love triangle melodrama (based on the story "Big Eyes and Little Mouth" by Elliott White Springs that was adapted into the play "Squadrons" by A.E. Thomas) starring Charles Farrell, Elissa Landi, Humphrey Bogart (one of his very first roles, and more than a decade prior to "Casablanca" fame!), Myrna Loy, and Don Dillaway. Note that Humphrey Bogart was third billed, but we have not auctioned any posters or lobby cards that show him!
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that the movie is called "Squadrons" on the back of this still, which was the working title for this movie! Someone under that wrote a date of "Jan 2, 1935", which is likely when this 1931 still was reused for a news story (or it could be that someone was just guessing at the date in pre-Internet days). Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.

Condition: very good.
