An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Buried Loot, the 1935 George B. Seitz 'Crime Does Not Pay' crime melodrama short starring Brooks Benedict, James Ellison, Al Hill, George Irving, and Robert Livingston. Note that this was the first in the "Crime Does Not Pay" series of 35 or so short subjects distributed by MGM between 1935 and 1945 (it likely was the source of the Lev Gleason comic book of the 1940s as well). Each short would show criminals foolishly thinking they could break the law without retribution, but by the end of each short, they had learned that "Crime Does Not Pay"!

Condition: good to very good. There is a long slightly diagonal vertical crease running down the right border. Otherwise, the still is in pretty good condition.
