An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Marguerite Chapman was an actress from the 1940s to the 1960s. She was a John Powers cover model who made 17 movies between 1940 and 1943, and she entertained the troops in World War II! But by the 1950s, she transitioned into a character actress, and she continued working through the 1960s before retiring. She passed away in 1999 at the age of 81. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Marguerite Chapman! Our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
