The Spoilers, the 1914 Colin Campbell silent Alaska gold rush romantic love triangle gambling action thriller ("From the the famous book by Rex Beach"; "A gripping, sensational photo-drama of Alaskan life"; "In 9 reels, 3 acts"; about a man in Alaska at the time of the Gold Rush, and he has a great claim and a pretty girlfriend, and a bad man tries to take both away from him) starring William Farnum ("as Glenister"), Kathlyn Williams, Tom Santschi, Wheeler Oakman, Bessie Eyton, and Frank Clark. Note that this movie was remade four times, in 1923, 1930 (with Gary Cooper), 1942 (with John Wayne and Marlene Dietrich), and 1955.
