Body and Soul, the 1947 Robert Rossen romantic love triangle boxing sports melodrama ("He... Had a lust for living - and women!"; "It's all for you... Body and Soul"; "The story of a guy that women go for... Body and Soul"; "Original Screenplay by Abraham Polonsky"; about a talented young boxer who has a "good" fiancee; but once his career starts to take off, he is seduced by the potential for fame and wealth, and he not only signs with a crooked promoter who can get him to the top, but he also takes up with a very "bad" girl!) starring John Garfield (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Lilli Palmer, Hazel Brooks (billed as "Introducing Hazel Brooks as 'Alice'"), Anne Revere, William Conrad, Joseph Pevney, Lloyd Goff, and Canada Lee

Important Added Info: Note that these stills have been mounted to a linen type material and have an extra 1" at the top or left of the still, along with punch holes in that extra area (typical of many key book stills). Note also that this group of stills come from a wonderful group of just-discovered stills that are from 1927 to 1929, with the majority from 1928 exactly. In addition to including a LOT of previously unseen stills (and some times from incredibly rare titles!), most of the stills have either snipes on the bottom or back, and many have some pencil writing on the back about the movie or actors. We normally only photograph the front of groups of stills, but because so many of these had snipes or information on the back, we also pictured the backs of each!

Condition: very good. The stills are in pretty nice condition!
