An Original Vintage Unfolded World War I Propaganda Poster (measures 28" x 42") (Learn More)

One of the Thousand Y.M.C.A. Girls in France the 1918 U.S. World War I (WWI) Home Front poster ("United War Work Campaign Nov. 11 to 18th") encouraging people to help the war effort, and featuring Neysa McMein art of a "Y.M.C.A. girl" holding books and offering a cup of coffee to French WWI soldiers while standing in front of the YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association).

Artist: Neysa Moran McMein

Condition: good to very good. There are many pinholes, creases, and tears around the edges of the poster. There are more in the top right corner, and someone put tape on the back of some of them in that area. After a simple linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look great, and it will only require a small amount of paint restoration in the image area.
