A Group of 3 Photographic Negatives (measure 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm]) (Learn More)

George Nader was an actor from the 1950s to the 1970s. He was one of the closeted gay homosexual actors in Hollywood in the early 1950s. He was under contract to Universal, along with Rock Hudson, and rumor has it that Confidential magazine was intending to run a story that Rock Hudson was gay, and that Mr. Nader made a deal in which he agreed to be "outed" in return for them not running the story on Mr. Hudson, which hurt his career (search the internet for more on this!). Some of his movies include: Monsoon, Carnival Story, and Beyond Atlantis. He passed away in 2002 at the age of 80.
Important Added Info: Note that these are "studio-issued" negatives. What are they? They were produced by the studio but are not the camera originals. They are very high quality and were created in quantity by the studios and sent to media outlets or other places that had need of the very highest quality image for reproduction purposes (in newspapers, magazines, or elsewhere). We have put scans of the negatives that show the "positive image" of each. REMEMBER THAT WHAT YOU RECEIVE WILL BE PHOTOGRAPHIC NEGATIVES, NOT POSITIVE IMAGES LIKE YOU ARE SEEING. However, we will provide the winning bidder of this auction those positive image scans that are both high quality and not watermarked (on request to the winning bidder, and only the winning bidder). Each of the negatives is in a plastic sleeve (but we removed each and scanned them, so that bidders could see just how high quality they are). They will be sent to the winner of the auction in their plastic sleeves.

Condition: very good.
