An Original Vintage Folded World War II Poster (measures 22" x 27 3/4" [56 x 70 cm]) (Learn More) The Present With a Future, the 1942 U.S. World War II (WWII) War Bond poster ("War Bonds") encouraging people to purchase war bonds (because unlike gifts, they hold their value, and of course, greatly help the country), and featuring wonderful Adolf Dehn artwork of a rather stern-looking Santa Claus on his sleigh throwing out war bonds to the town below. Artist: Adolf Dehn Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fair to good. The poster is in much lesser condition. There are several defects scattered along the edges and foldlines/crossfolds and there are several significant areas of foldline and/or crossfold separation. Many of the defects have been repaired with tape from the back that may bleed through to the front (virtually all of the folds are backed with tape). There is much rippling and discoloration along the lower edge. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid and please do not bid unless you can accept the defects described above, or you are willing to pay to have them properly restored.
